About the Speaker:
Wang Feng had worked 15 years as a journalist and editor, including three years at Caijing Magazine in Beijing, six years at Reuters, and three years at the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. He spent most of his career as an online and digital news editor, building up online editorial operations and managing digital newsrooms. He founded cn.reuters.com, Reuter’s Chinese financial news site, in 2007, and helped relaunch scmp.com, the English language website of the South China Morning Post, in 2012. His teams have won numerous news awards including the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) Award of Editorial Excellence, and the Asian Digital Media Awards. He holds a Master’s degree in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
