Today is a big day for data journalism of 2016, the winner of DJA competition were announced during a special ceremony and gala dinner at the Vienna City Hall, Austria.

Data Journalism has been a more and more popular method for journalists and editors to introduce stories in an objective way, the Data Journalism Awards are the first international awards recognizing outstanding work in the field of data journalism worldwide. There are 471 projects from over 50 countries which includes 10 new organizations join the competition this year.
