1月16日，國務院宣佈批准政務司司長林鄭月娥及財政司司長曾俊華辭職。截止下午4時，2017年的香港特首選舉已經有至少4位參選人。分別是退休法官胡國興，新民黨立法會議員葉劉淑儀，政務司司長林鄭月娥及財政司司長曾俊華。

Media blitz portraying fake news sites as having a real impact in national politics — and even capable of affecting the outcome of a presidential election. 里约奥运会落幕，闭幕式上日本首相安倍晋三以超级玛丽造型告诉全世界：东京来了。东京于2013年在最终的三个城市中获得胜利，取得2020年夏季奥运会的主办权。
从1896年至今现代奥运会的申办城市数量来看，世界各国对奥运的热情在慢慢降温。申奥争夺高峰集中在20世纪20年代至60年代。最多的一次是1936年夏季奥运会举办权争夺战，有13个城市参选，单纳粹德国就有柏林、科隆、纽伦堡、法兰克福四个城市参选。而1984年夏季奥运会举办权则只有洛杉矶一家参选。最近几次夏季奥运会申办城市数量仅维持在四个上下。
里约奥运会这届“惊喜处处”的奥运会差一点就在西班牙马德里举行。奥运主办权遴选信息网站GamesBids资料显示，在2009您的第一轮投票中，西班牙的马德里票数领先巴西里约热内卢，不过在其后两轮投票里约赶超马德里。 Continue reading
